You're stuck, struggling, and unsure what to do
WHEN EVERYTHING FEELS LIKE TOO MUCH, COUNSELLING CAN HELP YOU FIND A WAY FORWARD
Life might look fine on the outside… but on the inside, it’s anything but.
Maybe your mind won’t slow down. It’s filled with worry. You might be exhausted from overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or trying to meet expectations that never seem to end.
Or you’re depressed or carrying grief that is overwhelming at times.
Perhaps you’re experiencing symptoms of trauma, depression, overwhelming grief, or disconnection from others.
You may feel helpless or even hopeless.
Maybe you're looking for support because something is painful, stuck, or just not working. Finding relief from what's bothering you right now is where we start. True healing begins when we address the root of your struggles, not just the surface symptoms.
Hi, my name is Amrin.
I’m a Vancouver and South Surrey counsellor with 25 years of experience helping adults and children find their way through life’s hardest moments, including, emotional struggles, mental health issues, and challenging relationships.
My therapy approach is holistic. I’ll help you with all aspects of your life - emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual. I see you as a whole person, not just your symptoms. I take into account your history, culture, relationships, and circumstances.
As your therapist, I support you in your own unique journey, helping you create a life that feels right for you.

SPECIALIZED COUNSELLING TRAINING
I’m trained in a wide range of evidence-based therapy approaches and draw from those that best fit your needs at different points in therapy.
EMDR can help when past distressing experiences still feel present in your body, emotions, or reactions.
IFS (Internal Family Systems) can help when different parts of you feel in conflict, such as one part wanting change while another part feels afraid.
Somatic Therapy can help when stress, fear, or other emotions show up strongly in your body.
CBT and DBT offer practical tools for understanding your thoughts, managing emotions, and responding differently.
Motivational Interviewing can help when part of you wants change, but another part feels unsure or not ready.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches can help you find steadiness, awareness, and calm in difficult moments.
Art Therapy can help when words alone don’t feel like enough to process what you’re experiencing.
You set the pace. I follow your lead.
Many of my clients come to me for reasons such as these:
GIRLS AND WOMEN OF COLOUR (BIPOC)
The pressures you carry are real – and they are layered. As a woman of color myself, I understand firsthand how race, culture, family, and identity shape your struggles.
Counselling with me creates a space where you or your daughter can feel genuinely seen. I’ll help you feel more aligned with yourself, and more able to cope.
GRIEF AND LOSS
You’re dealing with the pain of a loss that you carry with you every day.
Grief deserves real space and support. Counselling can help you work through your loss and begin to move forward.
You Don't Have to Continue Struggling
THERAPY CAN HELP YOU LIVE WITH GREATER CONFIDENCE, FULFILLMENT, AND EASE
Taking the first step toward counselling can feel daunting.
The sooner you seek help, the sooner your life can improve.
